IMO Solar Disconnects are a CSA-listed solution where a 600 Volt DC rated disconnect is required. The SI32-PEL64R series is 600 Volt DC, 32 Amp rated, and these units are NEMA-4 for outdoor installation.
Please note that a 2-pole IMO disconnect will work for 1 solar string only! Both poles of the disconnect are needed to disconnect a single PV string, to meet the 600 Volt 32 Amp rating. Poles either need to be connected in series, or one pole disconnects the PV-positive, one pole (of the same switch) the PV-negative.
