The PowerMax PM3 series converter/chargers are versatile, advanced power source solutions for both DC load operation and 12 Volt battery charging from a 120 Volt source such as a generator. Clean, reliable DC power is ideal for powering electronics, ham radio equipment and appliances. The PM3 series is designed to provide clean power with or without a battery. The PowerMax PM3 has a built in Smart Charger which automatically supplies the correct Voltage and Amperage depending on the demand on the unit.
Various models are available, from 12 Volt 15 Amp through 100 Amp. Charging Voltages are 14.4 Volt for bulk charging, 13.6 Volt for absorb, and 13.2 Volt for float.
Quiet operation is assured as the cooling fan runs only when needed. Another advantage is FCC Class B compliance, which means that the converters are designed not to cause interference with televisions, radios or other signals.
